Chester River, Chestertown, Md., December 28, 2011, 12 noonish
It was the first cold day — really cold day — of the winter. The wind cut down the river through the rigging of the docked schooner the H.M.S. Sultana, a replica of a Royal Navy sailing ship that sailed the Chesapeake Bay in the mid-1700s. 
Pretty much immediately after taking this photo, we hurried back up the High Street to have lunch in a warm restaurant.
