New York Penn Station, Sunday, January 22, 2012, 12:30 p.m. Coming back from a weekend in New York City. I love this view, for some reason. Maybe it’s the looped video on training police dogs next to the board. Maybe it’s the way the board controls the crowd, excited and tense to see their gate scroll up next to the train just minutes before boarding. You’d think that trains would come to the same track every time. But no! Everyone’s always on tenterhooks, waiting to see where they need to dash off to. This board holds a lot of power.
